Spiritual Awakening

Devi Chitralekha Ji's spiritual journey began early. At just four years old, she received initiation from a revered Bengali saint, Shri Shri Giridhari Baba Maharaj. The blessings from her family and her guru paved the way for her remarkable talent in storytelling and spiritual discourse.

At the age of six, while attending a discourse by Shri Ramesh Baba Maharaj in Barsana, she was unexpectedly invited to share her thoughts. Holding the microphone, she captivated the audience for nearly thirty minutes, leaving everyone in awe of her wisdom and eloquence. This incident marked the beginning of her public speaking journey.

With the blessings of her guru, Devi Chitralekha Ji conducted her first Shri Bhagwat Katha at Tapo Van near Vrindavan, a place sacred to many devotees. True to his words, over 10,000 attendees gathered daily to listen to her profound teachings in a remote forest location.

Her captivating narrations and soulful bhajans quickly gained popularity, allowing her to travel extensively across India and even internationally to share the teachings of Shri Bhagwat.
