Welcome to My Gurudev Events (the "Application" or "Service"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application and our official blog/website: https://mygurudevevents.blogspot.com/.

The Application allows users to find, track, and view schedules, dates, timings, and venue locations of various spiritual events, Kathas, Satsangs, and programs conducted by various revered Dharam Gurus, Saints, and spiritual organizations.

  • Listing event dates, timings, and detailed descriptions.

  • Providing physical venue mapping through integration with Google Maps.

  • Enabling users to set automatic local calendar reminders through device integrations.

2. Information Sources & Content Disclaimer

A. Public & Free Resources

All information, text, addresses, contact numbers, and schedule details displayed in this Application are compiled and aggregated from free, publicly available resources, including but not limited to public flyers, official organizational websites, social media feeds, books, public internet forums, and user comments/feedback.

B. Verification of Information

While we strive to compile accurate, reliable, and up-to-date schedule details, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any event listed. Your opinion or direct schedule findings may differ from the details provided by us. Devotees are strictly encouraged to verify the live event status directly with the respective spiritual organization's official office, helpline, or official online channels before making physical travel arrangements.

3. Limitation of Liability & Zero Control Clause (CRITICAL)

A. No Association with Organizers

My Gurudev Events and Developer Nitish Verma act purely as informational aggregators. We do not organize, host, sponsor, manage, or have any official association with the events, spiritual organizations, or the respective Gurus listed in this Application.

B. Event Changes, Delays, and Cancellations

  • Any sudden modification of schedules, timings, venue shifts, postponement, or complete cancellation of any Katha/Satsang is strictly and entirely at the discretion of the respective spiritual organization, ashram, or local event committee.

  • We have zero control or hand in these scheduling decisions or cancellations.

  • My Gurudev Events and the Developer shall have no liability for any losses, inconvenience, mental distress, financial expenses (including but not limited to travel, fuel, or hotel booking costs) incurred by users due to inaccurate, changed, delayed, or cancelled events.

4. Guru Names and Intellectual Property

The names, images, titles, and organizational branding of the respective spiritual leaders and saints listed in the Application (including but not limited to AVDHESHANAND GIRI MAHARAJ, DEVKINANDAN THAKUR JI, DEVI CHITRALEKHA JI, JAYAKISHORI JI, MORARI BAPU JI, SWAMI RAMDEV JI, and all other revered Gurus listed on our platform) are the intellectual property, trademarks, and registered rights of their respective ashrams, trusts, and organizations.

Our inclusion of these names is strictly for informational and navigational purposes to benefit the devotee community under fair-use principles, and does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

5. Device Integrations & Third-Party Terms

Our Application utilizes direct device integrations and external third-party software tools to perform specific functions. By using these features, you agree to comply with their respective terms of service:

  • Google Maps / External Maps: For providing directional routing to katha venues.

  • Google Calendar Intents: For creating schedule reminders.

  • Blogger API v3: For loading database posts dynamically.

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): For receiving push notifications.

We are not responsible for the performance, terms of use, or data practices of these third-party applications.

6. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

Users agree to use this Application only for lawful, peaceful, and spiritual purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or API keys from the Application.

  • Use any automated bot, scraper, or script to scrape data from our Blogger endpoints.

  • Post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate comments on our linked blog pages or user feedback portals.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer, Nitish Verma, and any associated contributors of My Gurudev Events from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Application, or your reliance on any schedule information obtained through the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in India.
