By using My GuruDev Events, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent) and legally capable of entering into this agreement. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and devotees who access our platform.
2. Description of Service & Content Source
Informational Aggregator: My GuruDev Events is a non-commercial, informational directory designed to help devotees easily track Hindu Kathas, Satsangs, and spiritual discourses.
Public Data: All event timelines, addresses, invitations, and biographies are compiled from free, publicly available open resources (archives, public flyers, and official social media feeds).
No Official Endorsement: The display of any saint's biography or event schedule does not imply an official endorsement by the respective Guru or ashram toward this application.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All original layout designs, app logos, code, features, and textual formatting inside the application are the exclusive intellectual property of Nitish Verma.
Trademarks, brand names, and copyrights of individual saints, ashrams, and trusts (e.g., logos, names, official pictures) belong entirely to their respective owners and are used here under descriptive/fair use guidelines for informational purposes.
4. Prohibited Uses of the Platform
You agree NOT to use the application or website to:
Copy, scrape, or redistribute our organized event databases or content for commercial or competitive purposes.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt any API ingestion mechanisms (such as our Google Blogger API integration).
Post misleading, abusive, or harmful comments in any voluntary feedback or interaction channels.
5. Absolute Limitation of Liability (No Liability Policy)
No Hosting Liability: We do not organize, fund, manage, or host any of the spiritual events displayed.
No Financial Liability: Under no circumstances shall My GuruDev Events or its developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes travel costs, fuel, hotel bookings, or personal inconvenience resulting from a listed event being modified, rescheduled, delayed, or cancelled by its managing committee.
Navigation & Tech Failures: While we provide external mapping intents (Google Maps) and calendar reminders, we are not responsible for any navigation errors or device scheduling failures during your travel to the event pandals.
6. Privacy & Personal Data
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As an ad-free and registration-free service, we do not collect your personal parameters (name, email, or GPS location tracking). Firebase notification tokens and local calendar triggers are strictly handled client-side or securely via Google Services.
7. Modification of Services and Terms
We reserve the right to suspend, update, or modify any feature of the application or website without prior notice. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued usage after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
